Who We Are
We perceive and appreciate art in idiosyncratic ways. Hours can be spent reflecting upon a painting, attempting to unravel the meaning being every stroke, every shade, and every stipple. An artist gives life to an idea, but the lens through which we view their work often transforms the initial message of the creator. This is the essence of what makes art so remarkable.
Painting has been part of my life since childhood. As a young girl, I painted, and my works were exhibited at local events. After finishing school, I focused on developing my career and expanding my knowledge.I studied philosophy, psychoanalysis, religious studies, and art history at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, which profoundly shaped my worldview.. Simultaneously, I managed and grew my own business in the construction industry, gaining discipline, determination, and management skills.
After seven years of intense work and learning, I returned to painting with renewed energy and a deep reflection on history, philosophy, and human emotions. These experiences have profoundly influenced my art, giving it depth and significance.
In my work, I often use ultraviolet paints, creating pieces with two dimensions – visible in regular light and UV light. This technique emphasizes the philosophical message of each piece, adding mystery and transforming the way viewers perceive art.
My paintings also depict historical figures such as Amelia Earhart, John F. Kennedy, and Marlene Dietrich. Through my art, I aim to connect younger audiences with these extraordinary individuals who left a mark on history but are often forgotten today. Each work is a dialogue between the past and the present, inspiring reflection on human experience.
Galeria Rubin was born out of a desire to create a space where art can flourish and talented artists can find support for their work. My dream has always been to foster creativity and reflection in an environment that nurtures artistic expression.
After years of personal challenges and difficulties, I decided to pursue my vision with determination – a place where history, philosophy, and emotions meet in a dialogue between the artist and the viewer. Galeria Rubin is not just an exhibition space; it is a living testament to the idea that art can serve as a bridge between the past and the present.
I have always been inspired by the idea of 1920s art salons, where artists and intellectuals came together to create extraordinary works of art. Drawing from this inspiration, I established a space where various forms of art – painting, sculpture, poetry, and music – come together in dialogue to create something exceptional.
In 2016, I began organizing thematic exhibitions, inviting artists to collaborate. Each exhibition is a unique spectacle where art interacts with the viewer, creating unforgettable experiences.
Galeria Rubin is where I organize 3–4 exhibitions annually, inviting artists to collaborate on thematic artistic events. My works are also regularly featured in these exhibitions.
Beyond my gallery, my paintings have been exhibited on invitation by other galleries in Germany and internationally, in cities such as London, Milan, and New York. These events have allowed me to share my work with an international audience and inspire further artistic growth.
